In a statement to PTI on Prithvi Shaw’s non-selection for the Vijay Hazare Trophy, a Mumbai Cricket Association official said, “In the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, our The team had 10 fielders on the field because we had to hide Shaw. If the ball came close to him, he wouldn’t be able to stop it. Even when hitting the ball, he couldn’t understand the ball properly. His physical condition, discipline and attitude were poor and with that in mind we were forced to make this decision. We don’t have different rules for different players. Senior players on the team have also complained to us about Shaw’s attitude.
