Georgetown: After Nigeria, Guyana also conferred the country’s highest honor on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Guyana’s President Irfan Ali Solanki on Thursday awarded Prime Minister Narendra Modi the Order of Excellence, Guyana’s highest honor. After this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his gratitude to President Irrfan Ali. Prime Minister Modi introduced the honor he received through a Facebook post and dedicated it to 1.4 billion Indians.
Prime Minister Modi tweeted: “My heartfelt gratitude to President Irrfan Ali for awarding me Guyana’s highest honor, the ‘Order of Excellence’. This is a recognition of the 1.4 billion people of India following Guyana’s receipt of this highest honor.” For Honor , External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar also congratulated the Prime Minister through a post on his X handle. He wrote in the post, “Another great moment for India as Prime Minister. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been awarded the Order of Excellence, Guyana’s highest national award.
