Prime Minister Modi and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz attend Asia-Pacific conference
Prime Minister Narendra Modi speaks at the 18th German Business Asia Pacific Conference 2024. He expressed happiness over German Chancellor Scholz’s visit to India. The Prime Minister said that this is a very special day as my friend Olaf Scholz is visiting India for the fourth time. He said that the German Chancellor’s visit reflects the importance he attaches to India-Germany relations.
After 12 years, India once again hosts the German Business Asia Pacific Conference. The Prime Minister said that the ongoing CEO Forum meeting on one hand and the ongoing exercises between the two navies on the other hand showed that India-Germany relations are strengthening at all levels.
Strong partnership between India and Germany – Modi
Prime Minister Modi said that this year marks the 25th year of the India-Germany strategic partnership, and we will push this partnership to new heights in the next 25 years. The Prime Minister said that the friendship between India and Germany is deepening in all aspects, we have formulated a road map for India’s development in the next 25 years, and we are cooperating with the world’s strong democracies. Prime Minister Modi said that the trust Germany has shown in India is amazing. The bilateral trade volume between India and Germany has exceeded US$30 billion, demonstrating the strong bilateral relations between the two countries.
