A serious collision between a car and a truck occurred in Maharajganj, Uttar Pradesh. In this accident, the two-year-old grandson and his grandfather who were traveling in the car died. Meanwhile, three family members were injured. After receiving the news, the police rushed to the scene, seized the body and sent it for autopsy. In addition, the injured were also sent to the nearest hospital for treatment.
The incident took place in the Nichlaul area. Nichlaul SHO Gaurav Kanojia said the collision between a car and a truck took place late on Sunday night, the news agency reported. Ramesh Patel (50), who was driving the car, and his grandson Shivansh (2) were killed in the accident. He told reporters that three of his family members were injured in the accident and were undergoing treatment at the Maharajganj district hospital.

Search continues for absconding truck driver
The SHO further said that after the accident, the truck driver fled the spot. The police have registered an FIR in the matter and are looking for the absconding truck driver. He will be caught soon. He said the body had been handed over to relatives after an autopsy this morning. At the same time, the incident also caused confusion for the family of the deceased.
