In Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, a married woman was strangled to death in a hotel. Her lover was accused of murder. After the murder, the lover went to the police station in person to report the incident. Upon receiving the news, the Soraon police immediately rushed to the hotel, examined the body of the woman lying in the room, and sent it for autopsy.
According to the police, the young man came to the police station in person to inform about his girlfriend’s murder and said that his girlfriend kept pressuring him to get married and demanded 500,000 rupees. She threatened to implicate him in the case if he did not pay, so she was killed.
At present, the police have arrested the accused Vivek Kumar. The incident took place in a hotel in the Soraon police station area. The deceased, Suman Devi, was married and came to the hotel with her lover. The two had an argument and Vivek strangled her with a dupatta.
Let us tell you that 35-year-old married Suman arrived at the hotel in Shivgarh area yesterday with her lover friend Vivek. Vivek declared Suman as his wife here and stayed there for a few hours. After strangling Suman to death in the hotel room, Vivek reached the police station. He told the police, “I murdered my female friend and the body was lying in the hotel room.”
No one believed it at first, but when the police arrived at the scene, they saw a woman’s body lying in the room. The police immediately arrested the suspect. Vivek said during the interrogation that even after the marriage, Suman continued to pressure him to get married and asked for 500,000 rupees, and threatened that if he did not pay, he would be involved in a false case, so he killed her.
Suman had married Ram Asare 16 years ago. He had two children with her. But the relationship deteriorated and she lived in her parents’ home for two years. Meanwhile, Suman’s closeness with Vivek increased and they met regularly. A relationship was established between them.
