A court has filed charges against Qudu Muslim, Aman and Sabir for the broad daylight murder of Umesh Pal and his two government gunmen. A reward of Rs 5 lakh each has been announced for all three accused. The three have been on the run for nearly a year and a half since the Prayagraj massacre. Seizure actions have been taken against him in the past.
It is understood that the three accused also appeared in the CCTV footage of the murder of Umesh Pal and his two government gunmen on February 24, 2023. During the incident, Gudu Muslim attacked Umesh and his gunner Raghavendra Singh with bombs. While Sabir and Aman opened fire with rifles and pistols on gunner Sandeep Nishad who was sitting in the car.
The defendants were searched in 14 states and orders issued in seven states, but Atiq Ahmed’s gunmen stayed away from police. Even the STF took part in the search but found nothing. Eventually the police were satisfied and filed charges against the three gunmen in court.

In addition, he is an active member of Mafia Atiq’s IS-227 gang. A case of contempt of court order was also registered against him. On the day of the massacre, CCTV footage showed Aman taking Quddu Muslim on a bicycle before he was seen firing a bomb from a Sabir rifle.
Notably, Shaista Parveen, who has a reward of Rs 50,000, and three women from Atiq Ahmed’s family have also been accused in the case. Their search continues. These include Ashraf’s wife Zainab, also known as Ruby, and Atiq-Ashraf’s sister Ayesha Nouri. After the murder, all three absconded. Atiq’s two sons, Umar and Ali, are also among the defendants imprisoned in the case.
