Owing to the good performance of the police personnel, the Uttar Pradesh government is working hard to ensure smooth functioning of Mahakumbh.
Gender sensitivity training for police
The UP government has stepped up preparations ahead of Mahakumbh, the world’s largest religious event. The government is conducting special training for police personnel deployed in Mahakumbh to impart gender sensitivity to them. The first batch of training started on October 16 at the Parayagraj Parade Ground. Among them, special emphasis is placed on women devotees.
In fact, it is impossible to deploy women policemen everywhere to help the tens of millions of women devotees who come to Mahakum. Therefore, male police officers also undergo gender sensitivity training. This will teach how to treat women with sensitivity and how to help and talk to women.
The first phase of training will last until December and be conducted in two batches, lasting 21 days. Mahakumbh SSP Rajesh Dwivedi said that in line with the motto of Mahakumbh “Suraksha Aapki-Sankalp Hamara”, the entire focus of the UP Police is to provide all possible help to the devotees during Mahakumbh and treat them in a courteous manner so that devotees come out of Mahakumbh only with You go through enjoyable experiences together.
Police will learn ‘soft skills’ to help people –
The responsibility for the safety of devotees, sadhus, sadhus and tourists coming to Mahakum in large numbers will be taken care of by the Uttar Pradesh Police. Apart from this, they also have to help the people of the entire Mahakumbh area and be polite with them. In such situations, UP Police personnel will also learn the right way of dealing with people and soft skills.
Under soft skills, police personnel will be taught how to interact with devotees, properly inform people about where to bathe and where to stay, take them to the center for help if they are lost, provide information on how to bathe. Transportation and correct routes to the show are also provided.
It will also use AI technology——
Technology will also be used on a large scale in the arrangement of “Mahakumbh” this time. According to SSP Mahakumbh, AI technology will also help foreign tourists and devotees from across the country by speaking to them in their languages. For this, UP Police will take the help of Bhashini app through which it can translate multiple languages. Police also obtained information about the chatbot.
