There is an uproar in the politics of Uttar Pradesh regarding Nazul land. Some part of Lukerganj area in Prayagraj also comes under Nazul. Most of the houses here are built on Nazul land. In such a situation, the people of the area are very apprehensive and are afraid of losing their houses. But in the same Lukerganj area, there are 76 flats which have been built on Nazul land and the people living in these flats are very happy. Because, the government itself has built these flats on Nazul’s land and allotted them to him.
Let us tell you that in Prayagraj district This land of Lukerganj area But it was once occupied by Atiq Ahmed. This land also used to be government land i.e. Nazul land. But after freeing this land from the possession of Atiq, the Yogi government built 76 flats and provided houses to the common people at cheap rates.
It is noteworthy that there is an uproar in UP regarding Nazul land, those people whose houses are on Nazul land are very angry. There are many areas/houses in Prayagraj which come under Nazul land. Which includes the area of Lukerganj. There is hardly any house here which is not falling under government land.
But the people living in 76 flats of this Lukerganj are very happy. Yogi government has given this flat to these people. Lukerganj is an area where land is very expensive. If someone were to sell the land on which Yogi government has built flats, the price of one flat would be around Rs 25 to 30 lakh. While giving this flat to the common people, the Yogi government had kept its price at around Rs 5 lakh. The monthly installment was fixed by paying some money to the buyer of the flat.
People who got the flat say that this land was once occupied by Atiq Ahmed and it was Nazul’s land. The Yogi government has given us a house by building it on government land. Because it was very difficult for us to buy a house, that too in a high profile area like Lukerganj. We all thank both CM and PM.
