Power department employee filmed suicide video, JE holds him accountable

An outsourced employee of the power department committed suicide in Sehore, Madhya Pradesh. Before committing suicide, the employee made a video accusing JE of forcing him to commit suicide. The family of the deceased demanded action against the officer. Meanwhile, the police rushed to the scene after receiving the information, took the body into custody and sent it for autopsy, and started investigating the case.

In fact, the incident was committed by the Parvati police station in the Ashtar constituency of the district. Ankit Yadav, an outsourced employee of the power department, hanged himself here. He was appointed as a power supply officer of the Hakimabad power department. Before committing suicide, the deceased also made a video and went viral on social media. In the video, the deceased accused the JE of the power department of harassing him.

Demand severe punishment for those involved

People of the Yadav community were outraged after the video of the deceased before committing suicide went viral. A large number of people from the Yadav community along with the deceased’s family reached the Parvati police station and informed the police about the incident. Following this, a memorandum was submitted to the police demanding strict action against the accused.

This is what the police said in the case

SDOP Akash Amalkar said that an outsourced employee of the power department committed suicide by hanging himself. Its video has also surfaced in which the deceased accused the department officials of harassing him. The relatives of the deceased have been called. An FIR has been registered in the matter and action is being taken.
