Congress leaders protest against Ambedkar issue
After the Assembly, the Congress party has now prepared a plan to corner the BJP and Union Home Minister Amit Shah on the Ambedkar street issue. The Congress is also excited that there is consensus among all parties in the Indian Union on this issue. According to party sources, the Congress party is now gearing up to take the dispute to the streets. To this end, the party will demonstrate in the streets of every state.
To take steps on the issue, Congress organizing secretary KC Venugopal also issued an internal notification. Accordingly, all party members and members of the Central Working Committee of the National People’s Congress will hold press conferences in 150 cities across the country from December 22 to 23. In this regard, special priority will be given to large Dalit faces considering major cities.
Baba Saheb Ambedkar Samman processions will be held in various districts across the country on December 24, starting from garlanding the Ambedkar statue to submitting a memorandum to the DM. To this end, the Congress Party is busy mobilizing all workers. Sources said the Congress party believes it can successfully corner the BJP on this issue now that Delhi is about to hold assembly elections.
Why doesn’t Congress want to back down on this issue?
In fact, the narrative created by the Congress and the opposition on the constitutional issue in the Lok Sabha elections was largely destroyed by the BJP through Haryana and Maharashtra.
