Today is Dhanteras, October 29, and Ayurveda Day will also be celebrated on this day. On this occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will give a grand gift to the elders of the country. He will launch Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) for all senior citizens aged 70 and above.
In this regard, Prime Minister Modi wrote on social media platforms. In addition, Ayushman Bharat will also be expanded to provide medical services to all people above the age of 70 years. Donate Rs 12,850 crore
In fact, on the occasion of Dhanvantari Jayanti and the 9th Ayurveda Day, Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate, inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of many health sector-related projects costing over Rs 12,850 crore. Prime Minister Modi will also launch expansion of health insurance coverage for all senior citizens aged 70 and above under the Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY.
Several projects completed and groundbreaking
Apart from this, Prime Minister Modi will also inaugurate and lay foundation stones of many medical institutions to strengthen healthcare infrastructure. Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate the second phase of India’s first All-India Ayurvedic Academy. It includes a Panchakarma hospital, an Ayurvedic dispensary for pharmaceutical manufacturing, a sports medicine unit, a central library, an IT and start-up incubation center and a 500-seat auditorium.
Three medical schools were also unveiled
The Prime Minister will also inaugurate three medical colleges in Mandsaur, Neemuch and Seoni in Madhya Pradesh. Besides, he will also visit Bilaspur in Himachal Pradesh, Kalyani in West Bengal, Patna in Bihar, Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh, Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh, Guwahati in Assam and New Delhi and other places to launch the expansion of facilities and services at multiple AIIMS, which will include the Jan Aushadhi Center.
AIIMS facilities will be increased
The Prime Minister will also inaugurate the Government Medical College at Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh and an intensive care unit at Bargarh in Odisha. Prime Minister Modi opened 5 nursing colleges in Shivpuri, Ratlam, Khandwa, Rajgarh and Mandsaur in Madhya Pradesh and in Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Manipur, Tamil Nadu and Rajasthan 21 critical care units were opened and several facility and service expansion projects were opened at AIIMS in New Delhi and Bilaspur. The foundation stone will also be laid in Himachal Pradesh.
ESIC hospital inauguration ceremony
Apart from this, he will also inaugurate an ESIC hospital in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, and other hospitals in Faridabad, Haryana, Bomasandra and Nasapur, Karnataka, Central The foundation stone of ESIC hospitals was laid in Indore, Uttar Pradesh, Meerut in Uttar Pradesh and Achutapuram in Andhra Pradesh. About 5.5 million ESI beneficiaries will benefit from these projects.
U-WIN portal website is online
Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch drone services at healthcare facilities to make healthcare more accessible. Apart from this, PM will also launch U-Win portal. This will fully digitize the vaccination process, benefiting pregnant women and babies. In addition to this, he will also launch a web portal. It will serve as a centralized database of existing health professionals and institutions.
