Phulpur by-election: Congress leader’s rebellion in Uttar Pradesh costs him dearly, party removes him

Opposition to the Congress proved costly for Trans-Gangetic State president Suresh Yadav; Congress president Ajay Rai issued a letter letter, showing him the way out of the party. The Indian Union has fielded Samajwadi Party’s Mujataba Siddiqui as its candidate in this by-election. Former Congress leader Suresh Yadav is angry about this and opposes the party. and submitted a nomination.

Former Gangapal district president Suresh Yadav, who filed his nomination, has said that he is not worried about any action by the party and people are calling it rebellion and hence he has been saying that he will contest from Phulpur By-elections, whether the party gave him the symbol or not, Suresh Yadav also made serious allegations against party officials over ticket distribution. The Congress party was furious with Suresh Yadav for this move and hence took this big step and expelled him from the party.
