Loss due to strike
Kishan Verma, president of All Delhi Auto Taxi Transport Congress Union, says that auto-taxi drivers are suffering losses due to app-based cab services. At the same time, he claimed that app companies are charging huge commission from cab drivers.

Levelling serious allegations, Kishan Verma claims that the illegal operation of bike taxis and e-rickshaws in connivance with the transport department and traffic police is badly affecting the employment of taxi drivers. He said that the state government has failed to stop the arbitrariness, so there is no option left other than going on strike.

Kishan Verma said, ‘For many years, we have been writing to governments and departments about app-based companies, but no one listens. These companies put forward their side, and the government puts forward its side, but these businesses operate as a game of donations, in which the government is also involved. We demand an end to this game. The employment of auto and taxi drivers, which is being affected or taken away, should be resolved.’
