In recent days, the government will take strict action against those who threaten to blow up aircraft. The Ministry of Civil Aviation plans to revise the “Aircraft Security Rules” and the “Law on Suppression of Illegal Acts Endangering Civil Aviation Safety”. With the amendments in the two bills, the civil aviation ministry will have more powers to take action against people who make such prank calls (threatening calls). They will also be placed on the no-fly list. The government is preparing to take tough action, including penalties for those who make prank calls.
