People rushed to wave flags for Vande Bharat, BJP MLA fell in front of train in scuffle – Video

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday inaugurated the Vande Bharat Express train between Agra and Varanasi through video conferencing from Ahmedabad. People also greeted the Vande Bharat drop on the route of this train at Etawah station. Etawah Sadar MLA Sarita Bhadauria also reached the station to greet the Vande Bharat train. During this, she narrowly escaped injury.

In fact, MLA Sarita Bhadauria had reached the platform of Etawah railway station to alight for Vande Bharat train. She was standing on the platform waving the Vande Bharat flag, during which a scuffle took place and Sarita Bhadauria slipped and fell on the track. At this time the train was stopped there. When the BJP woman MLA fell on the track, the train driver blew the horn. Other leaders on the platform signaled him to stop the train.

BJP workers jumped up and helped Etawah Sadar MLA Sarita Bhadauria to her feet after she fell from the railway platform. He was hastily picked up from the tracks and brought to the platform. Fortunately, the MLA escaped injury and was saved from becoming a victim of a major accident. SP and BJP workers, including Samajwadi Party MP Jitendra Dohre, former BJP MP Ramshankar Katheria, BJP Rajya Sabha MP Geeta Shakya welcomed the Vande Bharat train at the Etawah railway station.

A race to display green flags took place between Samajwadi Party and BJP leaders and clashes also broke out between supporters of the two parties. The Agra-Varanasi Vande Bharat train will depart from Agra Cantt at 4:15 pm, stop at Tundla at 5:05 pm, Etawah at 6:05 pm, Kanpur at 7:50 pm and reach Varanasi at 11:55 pm. For the return journey, the train will leave Varanasi at 12:30 pm and reach Agra at 8 am. The Agra-Varanasi Vande Bharat train will run six days a week (except Friday). No official announcement has been made regarding the train fares yet.
