The All India Ulema Council Maharashtra has set 17 conditions for supporting Maharashtra Kasa Aghadi in the Maharashtra Assembly elections, including opposition to the Waqf Bill, 10% of Muslims retain jobs and education, Imams and Maulana’s monthly stipend of Rs 15,000, if the government is formed, with some conditions such as ban on RSS. In this regard, Maharashtra All India Ulema Council Chairman Nayab Ansari A letter was given to Mahavikas Aghadi. Congress Party and National Conference Party (Sharad Pawar) have accepted all the conditions and invited Ulema Council leaders to participate in the election campaign.
In a reply to the Ulema Council, Maharashtra Congress President Nana Patole said that we have received a statement from the All India Ulema Council that the body is ready to conduct elections in May 2024. Support us in the Harashtra assembly elections and we have 17 demands.
He said we appreciate your support. The All India Ulema Council is also expected to campaign for the victory of the Congress candidate in the assembly elections. Regarding these 17 demands, he said, we would like to tell everyone that after the All-India Government of Maharashtra is formed, we will definitely take measures to implement our demands.
Meanwhile, after the All India Ulama Council of Maharashtra issued a letter containing 17 demands, the Sharad Pawar-led NCP sent a letter thanking them for their support and appealed to the council to provide support for the MVA candidate Campaign for victory.
