A sensational case has come to light in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, where parts of a helicopter parked on the runway were dismantled and taken away. 10-15 people entered the runway and dismantled the helicopter. When the pilot tried to stop them, they even beat him up. The pilot alleges that he complained about this matter to the police, but no action was taken. Now a complaint has been made to the SSP, after which an investigation into the matter has been started.

A petition has been given to Meerut SSP on behalf of the helicopter’s pilot Captain Ravindra Singh, in which a complaint has been made about the helicopter VT-TBB’s parts being dismantled and taken away from Partapur airstrip. In this, the pilot said that around three o’clock a technician told me on the phone that some people are dismantling parts from the helicopter.

15-20 people opened the parts of the helicopter

The pilot said that since I am the pilot of the helicopter and its responsibility is mine. So I immediately reached the helipad and saw that 15-20 people were opening the parts of the helicopter. When I tried to stop them, they beat me up and also threatened to kill me. I immediately informed the Partapur police station about this on the phone and the police immediately reached the spot. Not only this, the police also brought the people to the police station. This incident is being told of 10 May 2024.

SSP Meerut handed over the investigation to CO

The pilot further said that I am the pilot of this helicopter and the CEO and director of this company. Regarding this, I have also given a letter to DGCA on October 31, 2023. A copy of which is attached. Taking cognizance of this matter, the SSP has handed over the investigation of the entire matter to CO Brahmapuri and has sought a report soon. At the same time, in this case, the SSP of Meerut says that there is no incident of helicopter robbery. This incident is about three months old, which is a matter of dispute between two partners.
