‘Parties that claim religion is in danger are in danger’, says actor Riteish Deshmukh’s campaign in Maharashtra elections

Assembly elections are coming up in Maharashtra. Meanwhile, all parties are busy campaigning. Actor Riteish Deshmukh came out to campaign for his brother and Congress candidate Dheeraj Deshmukh. Targeting the BJP, Ritesh Deshmukh said, “Those who claim that religion is in danger, their party is in danger and they are praying to save their party and themselves”.

Actor Riteish Deshmukh arrived in Latur on Sunday to campaign for his brother Dheeraj. Congress has nominated Dheeraj Deshmukh as its candidate from Latur. Meanwhile, the BJP party Ramesh Kalad came up against him.

“Work is worship”

Ritesh Deshmukh said that Lord Krishna said that karma is religion. People who work honestly are doing religion and those who don’t work need religion. He further said, telling them to talk about development first and we will protect our religion.

‘There are no jobs for young people’

Ritesh Deshmukh further attacked the opposition parties saying that there were no jobs for the country’s educated youth and it was the government’s responsibility to provide jobs to them. Furthermore, talking about farmers, the actor said that farmers are not getting good prices for their produce. Ritesh Deshmukh also pointed out that in the 2019 elections, Dheeraj won by 1.21 lakh votes. Ritesh Deshmukh told the public to vote for Dheeraj Deshmukh, so much so that the opposition candidates’ deposits were confiscated.

Ritesh Deshmukh also stressed on people to understand the value of their vote. In the Maharashtra elections, the BJP’s current campaign slogan is “If you divide, you will divide”. Ritesh Deshmukh opposed this and asked people to campaign in the interest of his brother Dheeraj Deshmukh.

“If we stay united, we will be safe.”

Addressing a rally in Nanded, Maharashtra on Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi accused the Congress of dividing OBC and other castes and said if we remain united, we will be safe. We will secure our future by getting Mahayutthir’s candidate to win.

Moreover, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath recently addressed a rally in Washim, Maharashtra. Addressing the rally, CM Yogi said that if he is such a person, then he is noble and safe. He said that when we are divided, we are under attack. So don’t stay divided, only stay united and you will be safe.
