Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said the winter session of Parliament will begin on November 25. The federal minister provided this information in a post on his X account. This session will last until December 20, during which many important bills will be introduced in Parliament. The 75th anniversary of the promulgation of the Constitution will also be celebrated during this period.
In this session, the government will introduce many important bills, including the “One Nation, One Election” and “Religious Endowments Bill”, which the opposition has announced its opposition to.
75th anniversary of the promulgation of the Constitution
This parliament will hold a grand event to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the implementation of the country’s constitution. It is understood that the event will be held in the Central Hall of the Constitution Building, the old Capitol building is known as the Constitution Building. A joint meeting of parliament will also be held to organize anniversary events.
Many important bills will be introduced
At this meeting, the government will work hard to pass many important bills, the most prominent of which are the “One Nation, One Election” and the “Religious Fund Property Bill.” The opposition Indian League has announced a protest against the two bills, threatening to cause an uproar in the House of Representatives.
Regarding the Waqf Property Bill, everyone’s attention is focused on the two main components of the NDA, TDP and JDU. A few days ago, Muslim organizations warned the two parties not to support it. On this issue, a TDP leader had said that the Andhra Pradesh chief minister would not support the bill. Likewise, the JDU camp has also spoken out against the bill.

The Foreign Minister will make a statement
In this session of the House of Representatives, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar will make a statement in Parliament on the agreement with China and will provide detailed information to the House of Representatives on the matter. India and China reached an agreement in October to end ongoing tensions in eastern Ladakh, after which the two countries’ militaries resumed operations in 2020.
