winter session of parliament
The winter session of Parliament continues. The conference may be entering its final week. Yesterday on Tuesday, a bill related to “One Nation, One Election” (the provision for holding simultaneous Lok Sabha and Assembly elections) was introduced in the Lok Sabha. This was easily accepted by Parliament. The bill has now been sent to the JPC. On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution, the Federal Chamber held a two-day debate on the Constitution. Amit Shah responded to the debate last night.
