Ramita Jindal has reached the finals of the Women’s 10 meter Air Rifle event. Ramita stood fifth in the qualifying round of 60 shots with a total of 631.5 points. Ramita scored 104.3 in the first series, 106.0 in the second, 104.9 in the third, 105.3 in the fourth, 105.3 in the fifth and 105.7 in the sixth series. The final of this event will be played tomorrow (July 29).

Let us tell you that Elavellin Valarivan was also participating in the Women’s 10 meter Air Pistol event, but she disappointed. Valarivan stood 10th with 630.7 points. Although Valarivan was moving towards reaching the final at one time, she could not maintain her momentum in the last few shots.

Ramita Jindal and Elavellin Valarivan had participated in the 10 meter air rifle mixed team event, where their performance was not good. Ramita Jindal and Arjun Babauta finished sixth with a total score of 628.7, while Elavenil Valarivan and Sandeep Singh finished 12th with a total score of 626.3.
