Every day there is some stir of one kind or another in the world of Pakistan cricket. Meanwhile, Pakistan’s star player announced his retirement from international cricket. This player performed very poorly during the 2024 T20 World Cup. The player has since been dropped from the Pakistan squad. This player is none other than Imad Wasim. Imad Wasim retired from international cricket for the second time. He also retired before, but later came back.

Imad Wasim made his return to international cricket on March 23 this year, ahead of the start of the 2024 T20 World Cup. He first announced his retirement in November 2023, but at the request of the Pakistan Cricket Association, he came back and was selected for Pakistan’s squad for the T20 World Cup. However, he did not do anything special during the T20 World Cup. He only scored 19 points in three games during the World Cup. Pakistan had to face defeat due to the innings against India. Since then, he has left the Pakistan team. He announced his retirement via social media.

Representing Pakistan on the world stage is the greatest honor of my life and every moment in the green jersey will be unforgettable. Your unwavering support, love and enthusiasm have been my greatest strength. From the highs to the lows, your encouragement has inspired me to do my best for the country I love so much.
