The Champions Trophy will be held in Pakistan next year but the Indian team has refused to travel there. Meanwhile, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has made a big announcement. The Pakistan Football Association has announced the Champions League schedule. The competition will be held next month from December 7th to 25th.
This is the second edition of the Champions Trophy series after the huge success of the 50-over tournament held in Faisalabad in September this year. In the first game, the Lake City Panthers narrowly defeated the UMT Markhorse team to win the championship. The tournament was attended by some of Pakistan’s best players and cricket fans thronged the Iqbal Stadium in large numbers. This Champions League adopts the T20 format, with five teams including ABL Stallions, Engro Dolphins, Lake City Panthers, Noorpur Lions and UMT Markhorse competing for the championship. All matches will be played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
