In a recent survey, OPPO India has emerged as the number one brand in India in terms of after-sales services.

In August 2024, Counterpoint Research surveyed more than 2,000 customers to understand the customer service experience of the top five smartphone brands in India. The survey was conducted among customers of the top five smartphone brands including OPPO India, Realme, Samsung, Vivo and Xiaomi in 13 first- and second-tier cities in India.

In this survey, 62% of customers described OPPO India’s after-sales service as “Very Satisfactory”, that is, very satisfied. Be it customer service or repairing phones or resolving issues with customers’ phones quickly and cost-effectively, OPPO India seems to be way ahead of other big brands in the country. This is why thousands of customers believe that OPPO India is better than other brands in terms of customer service.

In the survey, OPPO India was rated as ‘Very Satisfied’, i.e., the most influential brand to customers in important areas such as repair quality, pricing, speed of issue resolution, transparency, employee experience and multilingual dialogue.

After all, why do customers consider OPPO India the most reliable?

  • After-sales service experience: 62% of OPPO Indian customers are very satisfied with the after-sales service center experience, followed by Vivo and Samsung with 58% and 57% of customers respectively.
  • Transparency: 78% of customers believe that OPPO India ranks first in terms of transparency as repairs are done in front of customers, followed by Xiaomi with 77% of customers.
  • Resolution speed: OPPO India ranked first with 35% of customer issues resolved within an hour, while Samsung ranked second with 34%.
  • Repair quality: 57% of OPPO Indian customers are very satisfied with the repair quality, followed by Vivo with 52% of customers expressing satisfaction.
  • Repair cost: 51% of OPPO Indian customers are very satisfied with the cost of repairing their smartphones, followed by Xiaomi and Vivo at 45% each.
  • Multi-language support: 48% of OPPO India customers speak to service representatives in languages ​​other than English and Hindi, the highest among all smartphone brands.
  • Employee awareness: 56% of OPPO India customers are very satisfied with the problem awareness of its employees, followed by Samsung and Vivo at 49% respectively.
  • Reliability: 49% of OPPO India customers consider the brand trustworthy and authentic, followed by Xiaomi with 48% of such customers.
  • Service center location: In terms of service center location, OPPO India ranks first in terms of customer satisfaction, with 51% of customers believing that OPPO India is the best in this regard, followed by Vivo with 46%.

How does OPPO India become the most trusted brand among customers?

With the new generation center, OPPO India after-sales service adheres to the “customer first” policy and takes the service experience to new heights.

OPPO India launched a new generation 3.0 service center in 2022, aiming to provide high-quality after-sales services. Customers visiting these service centers can see product demos as well as phones being repaired in front of them, allowing for complete transparency.

Currently, OPPO India’s after-sales support is spread across more than 560 exclusive service centers and more than 25,000 passwords in more than 500 cities across the country. Additionally, OPPO India is also offering digital self-service assistants under the Indian government’s ‘Right to Repair’ framework.

OPPO India launches self-service assistant in March 2024. With the help of this digital service, customers can resolve smartphone issues without visiting a service center. This first-of-its-kind service covers all OPPO KA, F, K, Reno and Find series mobile phones launched in the past five years.
