Only Hindus in temple committee, but non-Muslims needed in waqf… Owaisi angry at BJP

Asaduddin Owaisi

In a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, AIMIM supremo Asaduddin Owaisi said the new Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) president in Tirumala had announced a policy to allow only Hindu employees work in Tirumala and the NDA government at the Center wants to include non-Muslims in its religious endowment committees. Owaisi wrote in a post on his social media platform Wants.

He said most Hindu endowment laws insist that only Hindus can be members. He also sarcastically says that what works for one person should also work for another, right?

Will do this in an honest and transparent manner: Naidu

Newly appointed TTD Chairman BR Naidu said it was an honor for him to be appointed as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam, while Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. expressed his gratitude to Chandrababu Naidu and other leaders of the NDA government in the state. Referring to the irregularities at the temple during the previous YSR Congress government, he said, “The sanctity of the temple must be protected and I will discharge my duties with honesty and transparency.”

Who is BR Naidu?

Let us tell you that BR Naidu is a major figure in the media world and he runs a Telugu TV channel which includes a Hindu devotional channel. The Andhra Pradesh government recently constituted a 24-member TTD committee to manage the world-famous Balaji Temple in Tirumala Tirupati.
