OnePlus 13 expected to come with up to 24GB of RAM, higher price tag

OnePlus 13 is all set to launch in China next month. While we await the official launch date announcement, new leaks claim that the phone will come with the same amount of RAM as its predecessor. However, the OnePlus 13 with the highest RAM and storage variant is expected to come with a higher price tag. The upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset is likely to power the OnePlus 13. It is said to come with a 6.8-inch screen with a 2K resolution.

Tipster Digital Chat Station (Chinese translation) claimed on Weibo that the OnePlus 13 will offer up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM. The OnePlus 12 comes with up to 24GB RAM and 1TB storage in China, but in India, you can only get 12GB + 256GB and 16GB + 512GB RAM and storage options.

The top-of-the-line OnePlus 13 is expected to be priced higher than its predecessor, with the phone coming with 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. In addition, the source also said that the upcoming OnePlus phone will be the only one among the first new flagships to offer 24GB of onboard RAM.

The OnePlus 12 isn’t the only phone with 24GB of RAM, though. Realme, Xiaomi, Motorola, and others have also launched phones with 24GB of RAM. More memory enables better multitasking, AI-based features, better gaming performance, and more video/photo editing options. It also allows the phone to keep more apps open in the background while playing games.

The top-end variants of the Asus ROG Phone 8, OnePlus Ace 3 Pro, and Redmi K70 Extreme Edition all have 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. However, all of these phones with 24GB of RAM are only available in China, with international variants typically topping out at 16GB of RAM.

The phone may be equipped with a triple-camera system, including a 50-megapixel LYT-808 main camera.
