Kangana’s film was to be released on September 6, but it got stuck in the censor board’s trouble. ‘Emergency’ has not yet received the censor certificate. In such a situation, the makers of the film knocked the door of Bombay Court.

Kangana’s film’s release postponed

The court has ordered the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) to take a decision on the certificate of ‘Emergency’ by September 18. After this, the court will hear this petition on September 19. After this decision, actress Kangana Ranaut has tweeted and called herself everyone’s ‘favorite target’. Kangana has said many things in her long post.

Kangana Ranaut called herself a target

The actress wrote on X (formerly Twitter), ‘Today I have become everyone’s favorite target. This is the price you have to pay for waking up this sleeping nation. These people don’t know what I am talking about. They don’t understand what I am worried about. Because these people want peace. They don’t want to take anyone’s side. They are cool, they are chill. Haha I wish that poor soldier standing at the border also had the privilege of being cool. I wish he didn’t have to take sides and didn’t have to consider Pakistan and China as his enemies. He is protecting you while you can lust after terrorists or anti-nationals.’

Kangana Ranaut further wrote, ‘The girl whose only crime was that she was alone on the road and was brutally raped. She was probably a humble and kind girl who loved humanity. But was her sense of humanity returned? I wish robbers and thieves were also getting the same love and affection that this cool and sleeping generation is getting. But the truth is something else.’ Kangana also wrote, ‘Don’t worry, they are coming for you. If we also become cool like you, then they will catch you and you will know how important people who are not cool are.’

Controversy over the film

There is a continuous controversy over the film ‘Emergency’. In this film, Kangana Ranaut will be seen playing the role of former Prime Minister of India Indira Gandhi. After the trailer of the film was released, the Sikh community called it objectionable. The Delhi branch of Shiromani Akali Dal had demanded a ban on the censor certificate of this film.
