Prime Minister Narendra Modi hoisted the national flag for the 11th consecutive time from the ramparts of the Red Fort on Independence Day. Every time in his speech at the Red Fort, the PM has been giving hints about what the government is going to do in the coming years. Continuing his tradition, this time also PM Modi, in his 98 minutes long speech, said a lot of things that the Government of India intends to do in the next 6 months. The gist of his speech was that those who think that PM Modi has become weak due to less number of seats in the Lok Sabha elections or the central government is no longer going to take any decision on which there can be controversy, then those people are: Understand that this is not going to happen. Modi has talked about many things like secular code, reforms, message to Bangladesh in the name of safety of Hindus etc. which show that the government does not want to appear weak from anywhere. It should be remembered that in 2019, when Narendra Modi assumed power for the second time, in the same year he had taken many decisions which governments usually take during the election season. Obviously, from this time’s speech at the Red Fort, it seems that the next 6 months are going to be very important for the country politically.

1- UCC was given a new form of secular code.

In his speech today, PM Modi gave a new name to the Universal Civil Code i.e. Uniform Civil Code. PM Modi said that till now the law in the country is communal civil code, hence the country needs a secular civil code. PM Modi said that the laws which divide in the name of religion should be removed. Modi said that the Constitution of our country emphasizes that there should be a uniform civil code in the country. The Supreme Court has also been saying that a uniform civil code should be implemented in the country.

Prime Minister Modi said, ‘In our country, the Supreme Court has repeatedly discussed about UCC. Have ordered several times. Because a large section of the country believes that the civil code under which we are living is actually communal and discriminatory. He said, ‘Laws which divide on the basis of religion. Become the cause of ups and downs. Those laws can have no place in modern society. Now the country demands that there should be a secular civil code in the country.

The political implication is that those who thought that UCC could now be put on the back burner were wrong. BJP will bring UCC with full force. Even if its name now becomes Secular Civil Code. It is true that the Central Government no longer has absolute majority in the Lok Sabha. BJP’s two allies JDU and Telugu Desam can take a different stand from BJP’s stand on the issue of minorities at any time. But BJP is not going to fear anyone. Secondly, for those who were thinking that Narendra Modi might bring some changes in his third term on hardline issues, there is a message for them that nothing like this is going to happen. BJP will continue its old attitude.

2- Gave a message to Bangladesh in the name of protection of Hindus

Today, from the ramparts of the Red Fort, Narendra Modi has given a clear message on many important issues including attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh and vandalism in temples. Without taking the name of Sheikh Hasina, who was exiled from Bangladesh, he clearly said that as a neighboring country, it is right to be concerned about whatever happened in Bangladesh. Although the PM’s tone was very polite, it was a strong message for Bangladesh. The PM said that I hope that the situation there will become normal soon. Especially the concern of 140 crore countrymen is that the safety of Hindu and minority communities should be ensured there. India always wants our neighboring countries to follow the path of happiness and peace. Soon Bangladesh will walk on the path of development. But it was worth noting that the PM said that India has a commitment towards peace, we have our values. We will always have good intentions in the development journey of Bangladesh in the coming days, because we are people who think about the welfare of mankind. This kind of language is indirectly a kind of threat. It is understood that the leaders of Bangladesh must have understood the speech of the Indian PM.

Obviously the next 6 months are important for Bangladesh. Politics will continue in India in the name of security of Hindus in Bangladesh. BJP is still alleging that the entire opposition is silent on what is happening to Hindus in Bangladesh. People are killed in Gaza, the entire opposition cries but for the sake of Hindus, the opposition’s mouths are stitched.

3- Strict action will continue against the corrupt, meaning action will continue against people like Kejriwal.

The PM said in his speech that we have launched a war against corruption on a large scale. I know that it costs me and my reputation. But my reputation cannot be greater than that of the nation. His direct point was that the opposition has been continuously accusing him of being a dictator because of sending the leaders elected by the people to jail. But despite this he is not going to stop. With this it has also become clear that CBI and ED will continue to work as per their own. If the opposition or the general public is thinking that now the government will stop from taking action in corruption cases, then they are thinking wrong. Be it Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal or Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, the law will do its job. The government is not going to come under pressure. The government is not going to tighten any screws on ED and CBI. Both these institutions will continue to function as usual.

He further said that there has been a change in social life at a high level, that is the biggest challenge and concern. Can anyone imagine that despite having such a great Constitution in my own country, some people are emerging who are glorifying corruption, openly cheering corruption. PM Narendra Modi said, “The efforts that are going on to sow this type of bias in the society, the continuous efforts that are going on to increase the acceptance of the corrupt, have become a big challenge and a matter of concern for the society. If corruption When corruption is glorified, even those who do not commit corruption feel that it has become a color of prestige in the society.

4- Reforms will not stop

PM Modi has made one thing clear in his speech that no matter how much the opposition opposes, the reforms will continue. He said that our government has implemented big reforms. Be it the poor, the middle class, the deprived people, the growing urban population, the dreams of the youth, we chose the path of reform to bring change in their lives. Our commitment to these reforms is not limited to the editorial of any pink paper. The commitment of our reforms is that it is not for the applause of four days, the commitment of our reforms is not out of any compulsion but with the intention of strengthening the country. Our path of reform has, in a way, become a blue print of growth. We have not made this change due to political compulsion. Nation First is our resolve. It is clear that within the next six months, work has to be done very fast on everything from economic reforms to legal reforms like UCC, Waqf Board Bill etc.

5-Emphasis on education and employment

The votes of the youth have been very decisive in the defeat of BJP in the Lok Sabha elections. It was said that the youth voted less for BJP on the issue of employment and paper leak in examinations. Perhaps this is the reason why the government is now going to do a lot of work on education and employment. Modi talked about providing employment through green energy and development of Nalanda Spirit. Talked about increasing the number of medical seats by 75 thousand. The meaning was clear that somewhere he had to take some steps for the welfare of the youth. He said, Bihar has a history of pride, here we have rebuilt Nalanda University. Nalanda University has started functioning once again. But we have to once again awaken that centuries old Nalanda spirit in the field of education. The Nalanda spirit will have to be lived, with great faith in that Nalanda spirit, the work of giving new consciousness to the knowledge traditions of the world will have to be done. It means clearly that the government wants us to establish world class educational institutions. Education should be employment oriented. The pace of development and progress of the country should be such that no one becomes unemployed.
