PM Modi pays tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on his birth anniversary
Prime Minister Narendra Modi today paid tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on his 149th birth anniversary. His personality and work will continue to inspire every generation of this country.” President Draupadi Murmu also paid tribute to Patel on the occasion. He said, “On the occasion of his birth anniversary, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the iron man who ensured the unity of the country, a grateful nation pays high tribute to him! Sardar Patel was a great patriot and a leading nation-builder. We should be inspired by his ideals and work continuously for nation-building.”
The country’s Home Minister Amit Shah also remembered Sardar Patel. He said, “On the occasion of the birthday of Bharat Ratna Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel ji, we pay tribute to him on behalf of the grateful nation who was the synonymous with unity and integrity and extending best wishes to all compatriots on National Unity Day.” He further said, “With his strong will and hard work, Sardar Saheb unified India which was divided into different princely states. . He also made significant contributions in making the Constitution far-reaching and effective. Sardar Saheb’s loyalty, struggle and sacrifice for the country will continue to inspire everyone to follow the path of national interest.”
