Madrasas running in Uttar Pradesh have once again come on the radar of CM Yogi. The authorities have started making a list of those madrassas which are unregistered. In the report of District Minority Welfare Officer in Aligarh district, 94 madrassas have been found to be running illegally. Students studying in these madrassas will be shifted to nearby basic schools. These illegal madrassas will soon be locked as soon as the children shift.

Actually, CM Yogi had given instructions to survey all the madrassas of Uttar Pradesh in the year 2022. As soon as the instructions were received from the government, the officers started going to the madrassas and conducting surveys. The officers visited recognized and unrecognized madrassas and conducted surveys and tried to find out from where these madrassas were getting funds. How many children are receiving education in which madrassa.

Madrasas will be closed on the instructions of the government

District Minority Welfare Officer Nidhi Goswami said that the survey has revealed that a total of 94 madrassas in the district are unregistered. They have not received any recognition from any board or any other kind. He said that the children studying in these illegal madrassas will be admitted to nearby basic education schools. At the same time, these madrassas will be closed on the instructions of the government.

Action is being taken with a feeling of revenge

After the survey report of Madrassas came, the administration had not even started the action when the opposition leaders started cornering the government. Samajwadi Party’s former metropolitan president Ajju Ishaq said that CM Yogi himself is not educated, so what else will he do if he does not lock madrassas. What has become the condition and level of education in Uttar Pradesh is in front of everyone. The SP leader said that this kind of action is being taken out of revenge as a result of the defeat in the Lok Sabha elections.

Madrasa director Mufti Akbar Qasimi said this

Madrasa director Mufti Akbar Qasimi said that no madrasa is unregistered. Madrasas are associated with some society or organization. Under Article 30, every person has the right to impart religious education and the Constitution has given them permission to do so. We cannot tolerate in any way that we be prevented from imparting religious education. Education is imparted up to eighth standard in Madrasa. Apart from religious education, Hindi, English, Urdu and mathematics are also taught.

Let us tell you that Maulana Mufti Akbar Qasimi also runs a madrassa and his madrassa is also included in the list of unregistered madrassas. In such a situation, he also said that madrassas are not getting any kind of recognition since 2016. When they are not getting recognition then from where will they get recognition? If the administration’s order comes, we will follow whatever is better.
