Talking to the media, Omar questioned the government’s promises after abrogation of Article 370 and added that militant attacks continued despite claims that abrogation of the article would bring peace.
He added that attacks are still happening in North Kashmir today and the Prime Minister is talking about families to mislead people, so let’s talk about the current situation.
When Article 370 was repealed, people were told that guns were in Kashmir; Now, five years after the demolition, the conflict is still going on.,” Omar said.
He also noted that two soldiers were killed in a recent militant attack, adding that the prime minister should address the current security situation rather than focusing on past political alliances.
Omar urged people to read the NCP manifesto and vote for the party in the upcoming elections.
