Recently, news broke that a pager explosion in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, killed 12 people and injured more than 3,000 people. Then, on Wednesday, a series of explosions of walkie-talkies and solar panels shook the whole of Lebanon. The attack caused more than 500 people to suffer serious burns.

Hundreds of such explosions occurred in two days. Ordinary people in Beirut were also terrified after these explosions. Lebanon was shaken by the serial explosions. These explosions occurred one after another, increasing the concerns of Hezbollah. Hezbollah blamed Israel for these explosions. People have started to fear all communication devices such as mobile phones, walkie-talkies, etc., except pagers.

People have created many memes and posts on social media because of this fear. One person shared a video in which a man comes over and shows a walkie-talkie to someone sitting on a couch, who then runs away. The caption of the video reads: “How easy it is to take someone off a couch in Lebanon.”

One user gleefully shared a photo of a landline phone on his waist, describing it as Hezbollah’s new communication tool.

Another user shared a photo of a “telephone” (played by children) with a paper cup connected by a string and wrote – Hezbollah will use this device to communicate in the future. They will have to talk through two glasses of wine.

According to Reuters, Lebanese security sources have accused Israel’s Mossad of carrying out the pager attacks. Mossad reportedly planted explosives in 5,000 pagers ordered by Hezbollah a few months ago, causing simultaneous explosions across Lebanon.

Notably, two sources familiar with Hezbollah’s operations told Reuters earlier this year that Hezbollah fighters communicate via these pagers to avoid Israeli tracking.
