The DPR work has also entered the final stage, and the land identification work is advancing rapidly. If all goes well, construction on both routes could begin soon. While for the Alwar and Panipat routes, the governments of Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana have provided their share.
Delhi-Alwar and Delhi-Panipat lines to get fast rail soon
Rapid rail is running on Delhi-Meerut route so now it will be easy to reach Panipat from Delhi and Alwar from Delhi. The greatest need for public transport is the route from Delhi to Shahjahanpur, Neemrana, Behrod and Alwar as this route has the highest number of industrial units. Thousands of people from nearby cities come to these areas to work every day. Union Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Manohar Lal Khattar told the media on Monday that some formalities were yet to be completed. These will be completed within a month and then the bidding process will begin. Work on the Delhi-Alwar and Delhi-Panipat corridors will start next year.
The Delhi Alwar Rapid Rail project will be completed in three phases. The first phase covers Sarai Kalekha, Shahjahanpur, Neemrana and Behrod in Delhi with a total length of 107 kilometers. There are about 16 stations in it. Among them, 5 stations are underground stations and 11 stations are elevated stations. The express rail will operate along the Jaipur-Delhi Expressway. In the second phase, 35 km of track will be prepared up to Sotanala and in the third and final phase, 58 km of track will be prepared up to Alwar. The entire corridor will be 199 kilometers long.
NCERT Public Relations Officer Puneet Vats said the Delhi Alwar and Delhi Panipat Rapid Railway projects are stuck in trouble at the central government level. Once approved by the central government, relevant work will start quickly. Work is underway to identify land for both corridors. The location is determined based on all these points, such as where the road will extend or where space will be needed for construction work. In addition, the DPR work has also entered the final stage.

On this route Delhi Sarai Kale Khan, INA, Munirka, Aerocity, Cyber ​​City, IFFCO Chowk, Rajiv Chowk, Hero Honda Chowk, Khirdola, Manesar, Panchgaon, Bilaspur Chowk, Dharuhera Depot, NBIR, Rewari, Bawal, SNB, There will be stations at Khairthal and Alwar. Apart from this, Shahjahanpur, Neemrana, Behrod and Sotanala lines will also be added. The express train will run on the tracks at a speed of 160 kilometers per hour. The track will be planned with a speed of 180 kilometers per hour and a rapid rail project is planned along the Jaipur-Delhi Expressway.
