To encourage girls to study medicine and engineering, the Delhi government has made an important announcement. Delhi Education Minister Atishi has announced that the government will add 100 additional seats for girls under the ‘Chief Minister’s Super Talented Students Coaching Scheme’. This scheme offers free coaching for NEET and JEE entrance exams, which are important for medical and engineering aspirants across the country.

This new initiative of the AAP government is designed to give students more opportunities to excel in competitive fields. Earlier, 300 students of class 9 and 11 from Delhi government schools were selected every year to receive free coaching in top institutes. Now, with 100 additional seats exclusively for girls, the scheme aims to empower girls even more, ensuring that money does not come in the way of their success.

Expenses should not dominate studies
While interacting with students who are already benefiting from the scheme, Delhi Education Minister Atishi Marlena praised the hard work of Delhi government schools and thanked Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for his continued support. She said, “The AAP government will never let expensive coaching fees come in the way of their dreams.” The scheme reflects the government’s dedication to make education accessible and equitable for all.

You will get benefit from next academic year
For many students, coaching fees for JEE and NEET exams can be a big burden. The Chief Minister’s Super Talented Students Coaching Scheme will help the students a lot. With this scheme, students will be able to focus completely on their studies without worrying about the stress of high expenses of private coaching.

From the next academic session, these 100 new seats will be available for girls, giving more girls the opportunity to receive top level coaching for some of the toughest entrance exams in the country (JEE-NEET). This move has been considered a major initiative of the Delhi government to promote gender equality in education and open more avenues of success for girl students.

Who can take admission?
Girls studying in 9th and 11th (Science stream) in government schools of Delhi can take admission in this free coaching. For this, the girls will have to give a Common Entrance Test (CET). CET will be conducted by GNCTD on the basis of syllabus up to 8th and 10th. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of CET score, on the basis of which admissions will be done in free JEE-NEET coaching.
