Children studying in council schools of Uttar Pradesh will not be given any kind of physical or mental punishment. Reprimanding children, making them run around in the campus, pinching, licking, making children sit on their knees, keeping them alone in the class room, etc. will be prohibited.
Now action will be taken against scolding and beating students in schools
