National Conference leader Omar Abdullah organized a special press conference regarding the upcoming elections in Jammu and Kashmir, in which he released the party’s manifesto. He said that a special committee was formed to prepare this manifesto, the main objective of which was to ensure that people know on which issues the party is seeking votes.

Omar Abdullah said that the party had also sought suggestions from the public to prepare this manifesto. He said, “We received responses from every corner of the state, which surprised us. We read each and every message and mail and have included all the important suggestions in this manifesto.”

He also clarified that this manifesto is not limited to election promises only, but it is a roadmap for the next 5 years of governance. “We have ensured that we only make promises that we can fulfill,” Omar said.

It is clear from Omar Abdullah’s statement that this time the National Conference has prepared a strong and authentic manifesto keeping in mind the expectations and needs of the public, which is not only a part of the election strategy but also the plan of the party for the coming 5 years. There is also a governance agenda.
