Union Home Minister Amit Shah visited Tripura on Saturday. There, he addressed the 72nd plenary session of the North Eastern Council (NEC) in Agartala. He further said that under the leadership of Narendra Modi, our vision is for India to become a fully developed country by 2047. Everyone worries about this problem. In Northeast China 10 years ago, times have changed. In the 10 years since the Modi government was in power, violence in the Northeast has decreased by 71%. More than 20,000 people have laid down their arms and joined the mainstream. This will be the Northeastern gateway of India.
Shah: Nation looks forward to Northeast
The Union Home Minister further said that the country is looking forward to the Northeast. The development of Northeast China is the responsibility of all of us. There is a lot of potential in the Northeast. Northeast will be the gateway to developed India. Over the next 25 years, it will become the trusted gateway for the entire country. The Northeast region will become an export gateway. The policies of Northeast China and the whole country should not be the same. Separate financial guidance will be formulated based on the actual situation in the Northeast region.
“Connectivity in the Northeast is complete”
He further said that Modi took the initiative and negotiated the exchange of enclaves between Bangladesh and India and the results have been seen in Chittagong where business has increased. Make anything in the Northeast today. Chittagong’s exit gates have been opened. Connectivity in the Northeast has been completed.

Shah said development plans had progressed and stability had arrived. Modi has visited Northeast China 65 times. Central ministers have spent more than 700 nights here. This shows how much the Indian government attaches importance to the Northeast region. In the next 10 years, the Northeast region will grow at a rate of 20%. This will be the biggest benefit of UPI. The interconnection of Northeast China has been 80% completed. Many industries will be moving to the Northeast in the coming days.
