Noida Sector 126 police station busted a fake robbery case of Rs 17 lakh and arrested two accused. Among the arrested accused were a debt collector and his brother. The police also recovered the stolen Rs 17 lakh from the two. Police said the fake robbery conspiracy was hatched by a youth named Rohit. He was working as a debt collection agent for a businessman.

Police said Rohit had been working with the businessman only a month ago. After collecting Rs 17 lakh with his brother, he planned to embezzle the money. To do this, he called his brother Rahul Bhati and together they gave false information about the robbery to the businessman and the police.

Brothers loot Rs 1.7 million from businessman

During the interrogation, both defendants admitted that they became greedy after seeing the huge amount of money on the businessman. They planned to use the money to start their own big business, so they made up a false story of robbery.

Police arrest two brothers

The fake robbery conspiracy was uncovered by Noida Sector 126 police station after inspecting the location and questioning collector Rohit. The police have arrested two accused and are busy taking further legal action.
