An electrician was burnt to death after a fire broke out at the Lotus Grenadier Banquet Hall under construction in Sector 74, Noida, Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday night. The fire started around 3 o’clock that night and engulfed the entire banquet hall in a short time.

After receiving information about the fire, 15 police cars and fire engines rushed to the scene. Due to the large size of the banquet hall, it took a long time to bring the fire under control. DCP and CFO Gautam Buddha Nagar and other officials were also present and the fire team brought the fire under control after great efforts.

DCP Noida Rambadan Singh said the cause of the incident was not yet known and the authorities concerned were taking necessary action. In this incident, most of the banquet hall was burned to ashes, causing losses of tens of millions of dollars.
