Nobel laureate Mohammad Yunus becomes head of interim government of Bangladesh, demand of protesting students accepted

After the last several days of political turmoil in Bangladesh, an interim government is going to be formed. Nobel laureate Mohammad Yunus has been chosen to lead the interim government in Bangladesh. This decision was taken during a meeting at Banga Bhawan (President’s House) chaired by the country’s President Mohammad Shahabuddin.

The protesting students have accepted the proposal of Mohammad Yunus to lead the interim government. Along with the student leaders leading the reservation movement, the chiefs of the three armies also attended the meeting.
