Paying for data is now very easy. Soon, you will be able to make payments via WhatsApp using your challan details. The Transport Department is preparing to issue traffic inquiry letters via WhatsApp as soon as possible. Additionally, chalan payments can also be made through WhatsApp. This information came to light from a post shared by the Delhi government. The government said in the post that e-challan will now be sent directly to those violating traffic rules through WhatsApp and payment can be made through the given link.
Everything will be done on WhatsApp
Currently, traffic fines for violations of traffic rules can be paid online through the Transport Department’s official website or app. However, many times people do not receive challan related messages and therefore they are not aware of the challan. Once this service is launched on WhatsApp, people will immediately get information about challan and they can also pay easily.
On an average, 1,000 to 1,500 vehicles are issued challans in Delhi every day, the report said. Once the WhatsApp system is activated, instant payments will become simple. Traffic police and traffic departments also don’t need to put in much effort. After the WhatsApp traffic challan system is activated, people will continue to receive challan-related information, reminders, etc. from time to time. Apart from this, once the challan is deposited, its receipt can only be viewed on WhatsApp.
people benefit
After the Transport Department implements this system, it will be easier for people to get information about chalan and its payment. In addition, the Transport Department will also launch an online facility for collecting driving licenses in the near future. People will soon no longer need to visit a Department of Transportation office to apply for or renew their driver’s license.
