Prime Minister Modi
Prime Minister Modi’s three-country visit begins today. Prime Minister Modi will first visit Nigeria. We will then arrive in Brazil and then on to Guyana. Prime Minister Modi will visit Nigeria from November 16th to 17th. After Nigeria, Prime Minister Modi will arrive in Brazil to attend the G20 Summit. Prime Minister Modi will then travel to Guyana.
Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Nigeria is special in many ways as it is the first visit by an Indian Prime Minister to Nigeria after 17 years. Earlier in October 2007, Manmohan Singh visited Nigeria. Prime Minister Modi will attend the CARICOM-India Summit in Guyana. This is the first visit to China by an Indian Prime Minister in 50 years.
