In this video, it is seen that Anuj was the first to enter the shop and Mangesh Yadav was wearing a helmet.

DGP Prashant Kumar, ADG Law and Order Amitabh Yash and ADG Zone SB Shirbadkar told about this video in a joint press conference. They told that Anuj Pratap Singh was the first to enter the shop wearing a white towel and white shirt. Mangesh, who was killed in the encounter, entered third wearing a helmet and was threatening by pointing a pistol. Not only this, he also threatened to shoot the people present in the shop if they moved. It is seen in the video that the accused named Furkan arrived wearing a black helmet and carrying a pistol and then along with Ankit Yadav was filling the looted goods in the bag.

Mangesh Yadav was involved in the Sultanpur robbery case… DGP presented evidence, said- Police does not work by looking at caste

On the questions being raised on the encounter of Mangesh Yadav, UP DGP Prashant Kumar said that the police department does not work on the basis of caste or any other factor. There is sufficient evidence against those who are said to be involved in the Sultanpur incident. He said that Mangesh Yadav was also involved in the Sultanpur robbery. The police has strong evidence of his involvement. The police action is fair and evidence based. The DGP showed CCTV and claimed that Mangesh himself entered the shop and was looting.
