A major operation was carried out by Counter-Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) on Tuesday, October 22, in which security forces conducted operations in Srinagar, Ganderbal, Bandipora, Kulgam, Badgam, Anantnag and Raids were carried out in several districts including Pulwama.

TLM recruitment module destroyed

During the operation, a recruitment module for the newly formed terrorist organization Tehreek-e-Muslim (TLM) was destroyed. The group is believed to be an offshoot of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and is allegedly run by a Pakistani terrorist operator known as Baba Hamas.

Agencies remain alert after Ganderbal attack

The operation was seen as an important success for security forces in the region in their ongoing fight against terrorism. Agencies are on alert following the recent terror attack in Ganderbal district of Jammu and Kashmir. Seven people were shot dead by terrorists in Sonamag area of ​​Ganderbal on Sunday night.

Among the dead were five non-Natives, including two officers and three workers. In addition, a local doctor was also killed in the attack. Five persons were injured in the attack and have been admitted to the sub-district hospital and SKIMS Hospital, Srinagar. The terrorist attack occurred near a tunnel under construction.

The biggest target kills since 2019

The attack is considered the largest target killing since 2019. According to sources, after the election, terrorist organizations want to attract everyone’s attention, so they want to carry out targeted killings. The mastermind of this attack is in Pakistan. A reward of one lakh rupees was placed on his head.
