A person died tragically after eating Rasgulla in East Singhbhum, Jharkhand. Police reached the spot after getting information and took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem. The police have registered an FIR in the case and are investigating every aspect of the death. At the same time, the parents and family members are in bad condition, crying. Also, mourning has spread all around the village.
The incident took place in Patmahuliya village of Galudih police station area. Ronnie Singh, uncle of 16 year old minor Amit Singh, who lives here, works in Angul, Odisha. Returned to his home after 3 months. There was an atmosphere of happiness in the house due to the arrival of uncle. Amit had gone to Galudih railway station by bike to pick up his uncle. On return, I bought Rasgulla from the sweet shop on the request of my uncle and returned home.

As soon as he reached home, after distributing Rasgulla to everyone, Amit himself started eating Rasgulla with enthusiasm. Then suddenly Rasgulla got stuck in his throat. After some time he started feeling uneasy. He started having trouble breathing. The family took him to the hospital, but the doctors declared him dead. Amit’s breathing stopped due to suffocation.
Amit’s father Sanjeev Singh told that his son was lying on the bed and eating Rasgulla while playing games on the mobile. In this sequence, instead of chewing Rasgulla, he swallowed it. During this period he did not have any member of his family. Later, when we saw him suffering, we reached him. By then it was too late. Let us tell you that Amit was the only son of his parents. He was a student of 9th class. The father earns his living for the family by farming.

Meanwhile, the police reached the spot and took the body into custody and sent it to Sub-Divisional Hospital Ghatshila for post-mortem. The police is investigating every aspect to find out the truth of the death. Police say that the matter is being investigated. Only after this further action will be taken.
