Nepal: Two Indian citizens killed in truck accident, many injured

Bad news comes from neighboring Nepal. Two Indian citizens were killed in a dump truck accident in Sankhuwasabha area of ​​the country’s Kosi district on Wednesday. Many others were also injured in the incident. Disclosing information about the incident, police said a truck full of workers crashed in the Fyaksinda Dobhan area of ​​Makalu Township on Wednesday, killing two people.

Both victims of the crash have been identified. The deceased have been identified as tipper driver Shailendra Pratap Singh and his colleague Saruk Mohammed. However, it is not clear where in India these people came from. Two other laborers injured in the incident, who are also Indian citizens, are undergoing treatment at a government hospital in Sankhuva Sabha. The Indian government has not issued any statement on the incident.

All those involved in the accident worked at a hydroelectric power plant in Nepal. A dump truck with Indian license plates was also damaged in the accident. A major bus accident occurred in Nepal in August, killing 14 Indian passengers. A registered bus from Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh was carrying a group of passengers to Nepal. On the way from Kathmandu to Pokhara, the bus lost its balance and fell into the river. Most of those killed in the accident were from Maharashtra.
