An 18-year-old college student was raped in Mahoba district of Uttar Pradesh. Police said the victim informed her family about the incident last Friday and reported it to the police on Saturday. Police said they are taking further action on the matter.
A Dalit girl was allegedly raped by her neighbour in Mahoba district, police told a news agency on Saturday. The neighbour took him to a hotel on the pretext of celebrating his birthday and his partner recorded the act. The 18-year-old college student said in her complaint that the accused and his accomplices used the video to blackmail her.

FIR registered and search continues for two teenagers
Police said a case has been registered in the matter and two teenagers are being searched. According to Mahoba Kotwali police station SHO Narendra Pratap Singh, the girl stated in her complaint that she went to college on September 4. Later, his neighbours Aditya Singh and Sameer took him to a hotel on Charkhari Bypass on the pretext of celebrating his birthday.

There Aditya allegedly raped her while Samir recorded the incident. Both used the video to blackmail him. The SHO said the woman informed her family about the incident last Friday and lodged a police complaint on Saturday. Further action is being taken in the matter.
