Diamond League final will be held in September

Neeraj Chopra had said in an interview, ‘First I was thinking that I will participate in the Zurich Diamond League and then in the final Diamond League. The good thing was that there were not many injuries after Paris. Ishaan Bhai (Physio) had done treatment during Paris Olympics. Whatever problem arose, he handled it well.

He had said, ‘Last time also I was asked for surgery, but I won medals in the World Championship and Asian Games. Even after the Paris Olympics, Ishaan Bhai underwent treatment and went home. I have decided that I will participate in the Lausanne Diamond League which is going to be held on 22nd August. Feeling quite fine right now.

Let us tell you that the Diamond League final is to be held in Brussels on 13 and 14 September. Each athlete is given 8 points for finishing first, 7 for finishing second, 6 for finishing third and 5 for finishing fourth in a leg of the Diamond League. Neeraj became the first Indian to become Diamond League champion after winning the 2022 Grand Finale in Zurich.
