Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar today refused to accept the Z Plus category security provided by the Home Ministry. The Home Ministry had decided to give him Z Plus security a few days ago, in which 58 CRPF commandos were to be deployed for his security.
According to sources, Sharad Pawar has said that he will first investigate what kind of threat perception is against him, and only then will he consider taking security. He has also sought information from some officials of the Home Ministry in this regard. At present, Sharad Pawar has refused to take Z Plus security today, and all eyes are on his next action in this matter.
