Under the alliance in Jammu and Kashmir, National Conference and Congress have reached an agreement on seat sharing. This was announced on Monday evening. Both the parties will field their candidates on 85 seats. Under this, Farooq Abdullah’s National Conference will contest on 51 seats while Congress will contest on 32 seats. There is an agreement to give one seat each to CPI (M) and Panthers.
